| Kudos to Jacetheacetheacejace for playing piano pretty well. While he's not a pianist, the potential is DEFINITELY there, and given piano instruction, I'm sure he would play well. (He's self-taught) I saw him after a Mozart concert, and I asked him to play some Chopin pieces. It was good. (Had to brag for ya) =) |

| LOL! Oh man you did not just post this message hahahaha j/k. Hey, I was more impressed with you - with your Rachmaninoff's Prelude in G Minor and that other Chopin piece you played (crap I can't remember which one that is... but I have the music for it. I'll check it out). Thanks for the compliments, it's greatly appreciated. And someday...I'll get piano lessons... |

| Oh...okay I remember what song you played. Chopin's Ballade Op. 23. I wanna learn to play that one after I work on Fantasie Impromptu over Winter Break (if I ever succeed at playing at least most of it). Here's the sheet music, where I get all my music for free: http://www.sheetmusicarchive.net/com...b/ballad23.pdf |

| Hehe, thanks Jace! ...just a correction though... The segments of the pieces you heard were Rachmaninov's Prelude in C#min, and Chopin's Posthumous Nocturne in C#min. HAHAHA, and I agree w/ your comment on The Entertainer!! |

| Wow, you're self taught and play that? Im impressed. I've been self teaching myself to play the drums for about 4 years now. That was frustrating as hell starting out. I cant imagine how bad the piano must have been. Kudos to you indeed.

| Senior Member | Hey, I got a drumset as a high school graduation gift, I played percussion in band and loved the drumset, but after a bunch of beating without a band it got annoying, and I turned to turtablism. I never really got a chance to really practice with the drumset much. Here almost 5 years of no playing, Im really rusty. Tugrul |

| I wish I would have done percussion in school. I played the alto and then later the baritone saxophone. While that is fun, I get more enjoyment out of laying down a really complex beat out of the drum set than I do playing difficult jazz music on the saxophone.
