Default It's that time of year again

I just put my stylish 14" snow-ice tire/generic steel wheel package with eBay-hubcaps back onto the car. Well, no snow today... could've waited until this weekend possibly because I doubt there'd be enough snow on the ground to warrant the need for snow/all-season tires.

Man the car gets really squirrelly because of the deep tread design...but they work so well in the snow!

I am stoked for winter! Arapahoe Basin in Colorado has received 41" of snow since Saturday...today is big powder day (14" of fresh) too bad I'm stuck in Salt Lake for the moment. Oh well, my checkride for SkyWest is tomorrow (wish me luck), then I'll be back in CO for the weekend. Ready for some more snowboarding! I've got 1 day in so far for the year...

Sounds like the upper midwest is getting ready for some snow as well?

Good luck on SkyWest! I hope to get on with them after I have the necessary experience. That way I can move back to the west coast. I'd even be happy with Colorado! (hint...Vail) Where you can actually utilize the benefits of snow by snowboarding, unlike FLAT North Dakota.

good luck living in vail on skywest starting salary!

can't say that it's not a good airline to fly for, however.

I just hope it lightens up when Im back from thanksgiving. I need to get my cross countries done for 222. Probably would be a good idea to double them up at this point. Might not be able to get lucky twice before the end of the semester.

Anyone double up the crosscountries for 222? You know, fly one flight for both? I guess you can fly to minneapolis or whatever to do this. Just curious how much of a pain in the arse this is setting up.

Yeah, Vail on SkyWest initial salary would be a little tough. Now only if my wife would land that big sales job in Vail....

Yeah try paying for a $500,000 mortgage for a 2 bedroom condo in Vail on a $18k salary!...and try getting the mortgage underwriter to approve on that salary in the first place!

I would have to just visit...

We are suppose to break 0 early this morning! Whose looking forward to that? I was out playing around earlier outside, it wasn't too bad! Its fun walking on the frozen grass creating nice deep footprints. I think I am gonna like ND weather as long as there is no wind.

Its also that time of year for having filth cars ALL the time! My car seriously looks like a big brown turd driving down the street.
