Default Uh Oh

Looks like we have this stuff --> in the forecast again for Saturday!
Looks like it is going to be pretty warm though...I don't think it will happen. Or at least it will happen during the middle of the night, and we won't even notice it

Umm... Erik is from Cameron Park, CA where it has snowed a few times, plus if he drives just 30 minutes east there will be snow accumulation during the winter. California has more snow than North Dakota! It only gets down to -10 and SOMETIMES -20's...but snow accumulation (because of it being warm enough) is usually 8-12 feet above 5,000 feet elevation...and trust me, a good 20% chunk of California is snow.

Umm...I had no idea where in CA Erik was from, his location only shows CA. Thats why I asked. As for the snow, I am enjoying what we have left of fall, my fav season.

OOps.. I'm dumb. I assumed his location was displayed because I think it used to be?...plus doesn't everyone here know Eric?

Angel is the only one I know too. Well I mean I've met lruppert and NDviaEP, but just once. Perhaps we should have a UND NetworkJC. Anybody be interested in getting together? Maybe we could all tailgate for the last home football game or something?

Hehe, who knows...UND Network JC? ..... It'd be kinda weird. I've met most of the guys I think... Well I met Chris D (foxcow) and Grant (roundout), when they were here, I've met Jason Evart, Jason W, Tom, Chris Africa, Andrew, Eric, and I've seen Ryan a couple of times, but that's pretty much it, I think...

edit: Oh, but if we DO have a "Network JC", I'm gonna force J Evart into cooking for us, hehe.

Ha! Sure I can cook. How about some baby-back ribs? Or 60 ounces of Prime Rib? MMMMMMMMM tasty.

huh, early, even by GFK standards.

the only time I saw the university shut down due to weather was an early fall snowstorm that was supposed to leave like 2" then left like a foot

Holy wow, man. I had a feeling I was missing someone out. Yeah definitely, you were one of the first ones I met, and yeah you were my instructor for a couple of lessons lol. Craaaaaaaaaaaazy.

edit: I left someone else out, too. I've also met "taildragger" (Dave), and Matt.

that happened again like 2 or 3 years ago and then Kupchella made himself very unpopular by saying "I see no reason to cancel school ever..." I remember the walk to wilke that weekend took me about 15 minutes when it usually only took 4. The strange part was, it was so cold that even though it was up to my knees my body wasn't warm enough to melt any of it and when I got there I was completely dry. The worst part was that it was on a sunday so none of the plows were doing anything, even the streets looked like that.

be careful... we might take you up on that! hahahhaha

considering how many JC members are up at UND, it might be adventageous to hold an NJC-UND...

It wasn't all that long ago, must have been my 2nd to last spring there, so 2001 or so.

What pissed me off is I was working on campus, and I WENT to work that morning, and then they closed down the campus later, like around 1pm. so I HAD to go home.
