Hey Jace. How's your summer going? You're still here in GF taking classes right?

The low ceilings today are keeping me from flying. Oh well, gives me time to study for the commercial written which I need to have done by next week.

Note to self...finish my flight course before all the 102's get here. Just kidding. But just the other day my instructor and I were saying how nice and uncongested the freqs were in the summer cause theres fewer people flying.

Yeeup, I'm here taking classes. Unfortunately I'm not going home ...I will at the end of the summer though. I am trying to finish one of my 221 x-c's and have been weather 3 times already. The first time I was only 10 miles from Wahpeton when I had to turn back due to bad weather. $271 down the drain!!! Oh well...good experience.

I have reschedueld the x-c for tomorrow at 9am, but I doubt I'll be able to fly then - ceilings are way too low.

Ya Im comin up June 27, how do you schedule flying up there. Is there a certain number of flights you can assign each week or how does that work? I think I defiantly want to get it out the way before Aug. 5.

Sucks about that XC, but just remember it counts toward the 98 hours you need by the end of 323. I have been wx'ed the past couple days due to ceilings too. Forecast is not looking good for this weekend.

Have you signed up for your flight lab yet? You should get a permanent launch for 102. For summer session you fly M-S. During the fall/spring semester you fly MWF or TRS. You can also add additional launches depending on your instructor's schedule and aircraft availability.

It should be everyday at that time. Once you get here and get your laptop you can check your scheule on AIMS. Also, your flight instructor should give you a call the week before the class starts to touch base with you and set up your first meeting.
