Default False Advertising

I think this is hilarious...taken from UND's Aerospace website:

[ QUOTE ]
Q: What is the weather like in North Dakota?

A: Temperatures range from 70s-80s in the summer to 10s-20s (Farenheit) in the winter. Make sure you pack shorts and a warm winter coat for your trip to UND!

[/ QUOTE ]

Should be revised to:

A: Temperatures range from the 50s-80s in the summer with several severe thunderstorms and bad weather. Prepare your car for hail damage! Winter conditions are extremely cold and frigid with temperatures ranging from -40 (that's negative folks) to 10 degrees in the day. There are several days were the mercury will not rise past 0 degrees, and that would be the high temperature. Be prepared for the winter by buying snow tires, heavy winter coat (like from the movie Fargo), having a good medical insurance policy (severe frost bite and toe amputation is inevitable), and stocking up on several cases of beer to keep you warm.

...so why are they saying that it only gets down to 10 degrees here?!?!

The '03/'04 winter made this last one look nice and balmy. Seriously, I thought it was a fairly mild winter. Heck, we only had a week or two where it was -45ish compared to the majority of Jan/Feb '04.

Damn, I feel cold just thinking of -45!
