So who here is going home for Christmas? I'll be gone from Dec. 16th through Jan. 6th. I'll be in San Diego laying out on the beach, Sacramento to visit my parents, San Francisco to go clubbin' and hang out with my cousins, and Lake Tahoe right after Christmas Day to go snowboarding at the family cabin. Anyone else doing something fun?

Oh my... Don't even remind me 'cause it'll just make me more anxious. I'm gonna go back to NY possibly on Dec. 13, then I'm gonna head to Honduras on the 22nd. I can't wait for Christmas break. ![]() Damnit, I'm still here studying for my stage 20 tomorrow (today, afternoon). Reviewing those emergency procedures. OK, sorry for going off topic. |

I'll be stuck here until Sunday, Dec. 19, since I have a final exam on Friday, but I won't come back until the day before classes start...

[/ QUOTE ] Don't sweat the 20. Just another private checkride. Make sure to know how to fill out an MEL, know all which airspace is where on a sectional and the weather minimums for all, emergency procedures and why you do what you do, v-speeds, and a few other things. |

Hopefully gettin out of here on the 14th. Last exam is done at 2 and I'm debating on hopping in the car and trying to do the 19 hrs. straight through. Something tells me I'll probably end up just getting to Purdue and spending the night with friends there. Can't freaking wait.

| Davenport, IA You'll have to zoom out a ways to get an idea. I just say the quad cities because most people have no idea where davenport is but know where the quad cites are. Its about 3 hours east of des moines and 3 hours west of chicago. Tom |

Naw really, I know the quad cities, my grandparents live outside of galesburg, il. Its like 30 min. se of moline, davenport (quad cities). Dang thats nice to know, I don't what year you are but it would be nice to know someone is nearby. First time I ever went there I wont forget the amphib planes on the river there, it was pretty neat. How do did u like liven there in the quad cities, not much to do at my grandparents?

Yeah I know where galesburg is. The airport anyway. I was thinking of going down there to fly their new 172 they just bought. The quad cities area is alright. 100% better than here thats for sure. Plus chicago and des moines is are only 3 hours away so if you ever get really bored around there you could just run out to either of those cities for the day. Oh and I'm a freshman. Tom |
