Hey, everyone, just thought I would say hi from the Holiday Inn Express in Grand Forks. I am here visiting the college. I am going to be taking a tour tomorrow. I am already very impressed with what I have seen. I can't wait for the tour tomorrow.
Is there anywhere I need to see or visit before I leave. It's a ten hour drive so I doubt I will make it back before I decide to come here. Everyone seems real nice here.
Keep on flying, if you all think I need to see anywhere please let me know ASAP. I am not sure that I will get to use this computer again before we leave.

Not sure what tour your taking but I'm going to assume it's the aviation. Make sure you get the non-aviation tour too. Contrary to popular belief there is a lot more to this campus than just the aviation stuff.

welcome to GFK and the lovely weather we have most of the year! like was said, get a good tour of the entire campus, not just the aviation side of campus. be sure to ask lots of questions when you're out at the airport, too. any questions/issues, feel free to ask.

I have to drive ten hours as well, from davenport IA. Since Im a freshman, I dont really know all the cool stuff. Definetly visit the airport. The resturant up in the administration building is awsome too.

Yeah, I forgot to say tour the whole campus like the others have said. I'd drive around the town too. I still havent really seen anything to do around here except go to the mall, go to the movies, or go bowling. Of course I dont have a car yet either so haven't really had a chance to explore around.
