Just wondering how the flight instructors are at UND if most are easy going and willing to do anything almost. But my main question is what is the average salary that a instructor at UND would make if any of you know?

He means what is their personality like. Unfortunately, I think there are a lot of instructors lacking a social life, but that is just me. But I know there are plenty others who agree with me.

[ QUOTE ] Unfortunately, I think there are a lot of instructors lacking a social life, but that is just me. But I know there are plenty others who agree with me. [/ QUOTE ] I would be one of them.... Just like any flight school we've got some good ones and some bad ones. I know guys that are cool as hell, someone that you would go out and grab a beer with, but are terrible instructors. I know guys that are probably not the most "social creatures" around town, but are great instructors. I've had two instructors that were a combination of both, which made the flying a whole lot of fun. However, I had one guy that was a combination of neither, made the flying really tedious and unenjoyable. People prefer different things, and in the end it all really just comes down to whether or not your personality is compatible with your instructors. If it is, you'll have a damn good time during the course. Otherwise it might make it a little less enjoyable. Last but certainly not least, are the instructors with huge heads (in the metaphorical sense). They walk around the airport like they are the hottest ##### to hit G.F. in the last ten years. Luckily there aren't many of them, but I know that I and any of the others that go here could probably rattle off 3 or 4 names of guys that fit that bill. (And for some F'd up reason I always get stuck with them for my stages. )No idea on the pay thing. I would assume it's comparible, if not higher, to what an FBO would be paying. Matt |
