What parent would seriously send their kid to a school to get a degree in remote control airplanes? ![]() UND likes to say that these jobs pay a lot, but they don't, and there aren't that many out there. This degree program will turn out just like that AgCam- the camera UND put on the international space station that doesn't work. |

YOu guys don't get it. There's money to be made and UND, like other schools and businesses out there, is in the business of making money. Look at the current state of the world and the economy and think about that.

| A few posters here don't understand the business side of anything. They would fit nicely in management at United because they don't seem to understand business either.

| As much as UND would like to you to think, UND is not a private for-profit corporation, even they do try to act like it using the Aerospace Foundation. UND is a publicly funded institution, not just another FBO.

Sure, they need to generate income to equal out costs, but they are not a for-profit public corporation as some seem to think. | |

| No doubt about that! UND is in the business to make money. But I was merely stating a point that the degree was worthless - in the event that a prospective student seeking advice on these forums were to consider the degree.
