Yes, except for lots of other people have that exact same idea...and there is going to be a head on collision coming around one of those corners unless they put some mirrors up.

Nah, you can see over the walls. Keeping your intended line and hitting your braking and acceleration points is kinda hard when you're looking out the side windows though. Don't read this as being reckless. You can drive PROPERLY and not speed or drive reckless.

It helps if you start at the bottom, clear it all the way up, go back down and make your way up again, and it's good if you have a observer/spotter too. It's nice when it's wet outside and you come in with wet-ish tires, not to mention my tires are almost slicks now. Wet roads + RWD is fun! Especially in ND where the roads are super slick.

There must be a lot of dust in there or something. When I went up, I noticed it was a little slick, coming back down was pretty friggen fun! I LOVE downhill driving. It makes my car behave like a much better balanced car. No under steer at all!

Downhill is more fun but I feel like you get a better view going up and you know that their isn't going to be people coming down (until the walkway opens) but there might be cars going up. And it would be easier to recover going up. Now going with multiple people and having all the entrances covered so you can be 100% sure that it will be clear...that would be fun.

I went pretty slow back down but going up is fun too and the back really slides out. I might have to go back and try downhill a little more.

Driving a car through a parking garage...awesome.

Try it on a razor scooter. That is much more fun.

That's a great idea! More fun activities to do in Grand Forks...I should write that one down.

You know what else is awesome? Driving around with 3 people for one hour trying to find something to do. You get pretty desperate...

Oh yes, it is definitely easier to recover going up hill. My car understeers like a little school girl, so that's why I like down hill better. Apparently, handling wasn't one of GM's major concerns when designing old lady cars.

You can try my car sometime if you want to break away from the under steer for a while.

Have you been to Itasca State Park yet? Their scenic loop road is amazing! It's one way and it's exactly like the mountainous roads of Oregon (just gotta watch out for deer). It's a pretty short drive away and the view there is superb. I went there this last weekend with a friend and it was awesome!

I always feel weird driving someone else's car hard. Ask Jason, except for when we went out on the interstate, I was driving it like a sally!

Ha, I'm the same way, but I still got a speeding ticket in Angel's car.

Haha that was fun. Now my car is gonna be in storage for a few months ...anyone want to drive it in the meantime? I don't want it sitting still for a long time longing for the windy twisty California roads.

Sure, I'll take you up on the offer. I'll pick it up, then I'll bring it to GFK and park it outside Walmart so it can get rebaptized with door dings.

I never knew a car could receive so many door dings until I moved to Grand Forks, ND

*30 knot North Dakotan wind gust + fat overweight careless sweat-pants-wearing North Dakotan + Chevy Monte Carlo with Dale Earnhardt Package and its 80 lb door + freshly waxed Honda Civic sitting in parking space 1 mile out from store entrance in order to avoid such situations = WAAAAAAAACK!*

Oh thank gaud for Paintless Dent Removal!

I miss all the 180-then-reverse-180's and various stunt driving tricks we'd do in your car . How come we never video taped it? (aaah I see... police evidence?)
