    I was in Challenger 601 initial with one of their "new hires". He was in his late 30s; a career changer. He had been instructing at ATP at HND, and was looking for his first jet gig. His employment was conditional on earning the type, and he was paying out of pocket for it. He said he would be reimbursed in his paycheck over a one year period (I think). Don't know if they just manipulated the numbers to make it SEEM like he was being reimbursed, or they really did, but it's none of my business. For what it's worth, he seems to really enjoy his job.

    Met one of their pilots at Atlantic in LAS. He was relatively happy, just wanted a better schedule than 2 weeks on/1 week off. Pay was so-so.

    Thanks. I'm trying to see what 135/91 jobs out there are worth pushing for. Still trying to avantair but I need more options to stay out of the regionals in case it doesn't happen.
