Looking for a crash pad around Willow Run if anyone knows of any that have any open space. It needs to be somewhat close - I'm going to be on a 30 min callout. I'm starting on August 2nd so my need is great. Thanks!!!

Le Bump... anyone know of any open crashpads? I'm also open to 'DTW' crashpads as long as they are on the west side of the airport. Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

    Thanks.

Due to the cheap price of airport hotels at DTW, there probably aren't as many crashpads around as some other big hubs around the country.

There definitely are a bunch in hotels though, and I'm sure there are a few more around in apartments/houses but I only personally know of one.

You might want to try posting on a purely airline oriented forum, just because you'll get more 121 people that are DTW-based commuters who might know of places.

Okay, I just found the name of the crashpad some people have in a house in Belleville. That is on the west side of the airport and actually very close to YIP.

I will try and get an e-mail for you to see if they have a spot open. You have to have your own car but it sounds like you already will anyway.

    Hey Dude.
Don't you have something to announce on "member announcements"?;)

Anyway I got your message and will call you soon. Congrats, glad it worked out for you.

I've got a couple of guys looking into the crashpad thing and will hopefully have some info in case Nicks lead doesn't pan out.

    :beer:awaits when you get here.

ps- don't know if they mentioned it during the interview but dc-9 days off will be 13/mo. as of sept.
