    Great gouge I-Pilot! Thanks.
Any chance I can take one of the Seminoles or a 172 or something from LZU down to Ft Lauderdale instead of an airliner? If not, how bad is the TSA harassment?

No chance unless you're very serious and willing to pay for it. You can also drive your car down to Florida for the Checkride if you're not willing to get on an Airliner. As for TSA, they took my 6oz toothpaste out of ATL, I was pretty bummed! Have your fingers crossed so you don't get the x-ray machine lol!!

I'd discount JAX completely and stay far, far away from that spot. :) Anywhere but JAX.

All the instructors that come out here from from JAX are so happy to get away from that place. You might be on to something. :)

Everywhere is like another world, compared to JAX.

any updates on which location is best recently? A place with fair examiners, etc. The closest to me is Vegas but I heard it has a small practice area?

Fair examiner? That would be Mr. Houston over @ LZU.

There's no ideal location in aviation for getting your ratings. At the end what matters is your aptitude as an individual for obtaining your rating.............

I used the Vegas location and loved it. The instructors there were top notch and examiners were very fair. I'd personally recommend it!

I think those are for the 14 day course.... when you click on the IND location it lists the 21 day cfi under available programs.... certainly could just be a bait and switch sort of thing though. Guess I'll have to call and find out.

The 21 day program is the old 14 day program. They increased the length of the program recently. Calling would be best but I would guess that they haven't got all of their website updated with the new information. I do not think IND has ever offered the whole CFI program but I could be wrong.

Join their forum and ask on there about it. Atleast you want have to be on the call list by doing that.
