mmmm... do that and double it. Then we'll talk. Actually, just double the payscales.

Not that I'm saying I would/could do it, but a 5K signing bonus would go a long way towards me ejecting from where I'm at early.

Why? They seem to be growing and making decent progress on getting a new contract. As outdated as the old contract is, it has a few advantages over Eagle such as no junior manning, higher reserve guarantee (75 vs 70), no ready reserve and higher first year pay with the bonus.

When the pilot group starts taking out advertisements saying "don't apply here!" that is not "decent progress on getting a new contract."

Are they really that desperate for pilots?

Well do you know if United is offering the new Q flying contingent upon getting a new contract? I don't know the answer but that could help reach an agreement. What regional is perfect? They all have their drama.

Right on all accounts. But even with dangling new flying in front of the pilot group, I bet both sides still have different ideas on what a good contract would be.

It starts out by saying "Why you shouldnt work here"...
In reality it should say "Why this place sucks"...
Moreover, it could say "Why regionals suck".

I know you know, so maybe it was a typo, but AE rsv guarantee is 75 as well.

My mistake, monthly guarantee is lower at Eagle not rsv.

The reason is underhanded. The union wants to limit applicants, putting artificial pressure on the company.

Apply, and if you interview and get hired, take the job. There's no regional that doesn't have its fair share of problems, and RAH is not as gloomy as Eagle, and not as taboo as GoJet. As far as the union stuff, I tell you what, all that complaining goes away real quick when people start upgrading, getting off reserve etc.

There was no complaints about reserve here at XJT until people got stuck on it for 3 years+
