Hey all! Have a quick question about applying to various companies in the near future. I believe I have a pretty solid resume, some great real world experience, ATP written complete (100%), CL-65 training, great references, quality amount of TT, XC Time, Night, etc. One thing I don't have a lot of though, is ME time. I'm trying everything to network and try and get in to be a co-pilot/safety pilot but with the economy it's been slow.

I was wondering if I should still apply to the various companies hiring if I'm above their required TT, but not ME time? Is this frowned upon by the hiring company, or is it worth the risk to maybe get lucky? Any advice would be great. Thanks again!

I'm in the same boat. I've been asking the same question including a post on here that had a few responses. The general response I got was go for it, it can't hurt to apply and you won't have a chance if you don't apply. I've started applying and I've gotten one "thanks for your interest but you don't meet our minimum requirements" letter. I've also been told its good to get your resume in even if you don't get an interview now, they can come back to you later if they need people and decide to make an "exception" to their minimum requirements. All things considered, I don't think it can hurt to apply. Good luck!
