Am I the only one who thinks the A380 is the ugliest airliner manufactured in decades?

Qantas has never lost a passenger or an airframe and they weren't about to start with this one. Airbus wanted to replace the airframe but Qantas said no, fix it. Read between the lines on the article. It looks like $139m + $95m + labor.

Not only is it ugly, but it shouldn't be allowed into most airports it goes into either.

Airbus hate or what? Do explain. I quite like the looks of the thing. Took a while to grow on me

Meaning, if they were given the opportunity to be hired to fly one, they'd turn it down, on principle of course.

    :)

It may look ugly, and not able to fly, but it hates things Embraer and attacks them, so it's +1 in my book.

Ah, check your facts. They lost a DHA-3 in 1951 that killed 7 people. They lost an L-1049 to fire in 1960.

I think the wingtip even says, "Bitch better have my money! Don't come with me with short money or I'll cut you!" under it.

What? Qantas is Qantas, has been for ever. Or are you going to tell me that the United now isn't the United that lost 2 planes on 9/11? Freaking clueless you are.
