Passed Commercial Checkride

    Have not posted here in a while, but I passed my commercial ASEL checkride today! I have been doing commercial training wherever I have been living over the past two years, but I was never really able to get it done at those schools due to various reasons(mainly time). So I decided to go down to Shebles in Fort Mohave, AZ for their 2 day commercial course. I was basically 80-85% ready to go for the flying, and 95% for the oral stuff before I left to go the Shebles. They completed me on time and on budget. Had the ride with Joe Sheble Sr. It followed the PTS exactly. Had a two hour oral exam, and a 1.3 hour flight(.3 in the RG and 1 in the 172).

    Tomorrow, I start the multi-engine training here. It is much cheaper if you do the ASEL and AMEL together, which is why I have decided to knock the two out at the same time. It obviously will not bring me to being fully proficient in multi engine aircraft, but I am planning on doing some more multi flying with my FBO when I get home.

    Congrats and good luck on the MEL! Did one of your CFI's have the intitials CL by chance? (I did my CFI there and he runs the CFI program)

    Thanks everyone! I did not have him as an instructor. I flew with two people while I was there though. Ended up not doing my MEL there because I had to head home early. Hope to knock that out fairly soon though.
