Have not posted here in a while, but I passed my commercial ASEL checkride today! I have been doing commercial training wherever I have been living over the past two years, but I was never really able to get it done at those schools due to various reasons(mainly time). So I decided to go down to Shebles in Fort Mohave, AZ for their 2 day commercial course. I was basically 80-85% ready to go for the flying, and 95% for the oral stuff before I left to go the Shebles. They completed me on time and on budget. Had the ride with Joe Sheble Sr. It followed the PTS exactly. Had a two hour oral exam, and a 1.3 hour flight(.3 in the RG and 1 in the 172). Tomorrow, I start the multi-engine training here. It is much cheaper if you do the ASEL and AMEL together, which is why I have decided to knock the two out at the same time. It obviously will not bring me to being fully proficient in multi engine aircraft, but I am planning on doing some more multi flying with my FBO when I get home.
