They'll just assign it to a debt collection agency and ruin your credit, most likely.

Yes they take it from your check and then deny you unemployment so you have to find a lawyer to fight it and if you need unemployment you probably cant afford a lawyer.

you guys sure are harsh on PW... They gave me over 1000 hours of turbine time. It wasnt all fun, but it is in Hawaii.... How can you complain about that? No the pay wasnt great, and there was some drama, but whatever... I got my turbine time... Now I'm moving on to fly jets at my new job. It's gonna be hard to beat hawaii...

The kind with SJS worth risking lives. Although you're not going to find a ton of ice in Hawaii.

You guys keep asking why a pilot would not stand up for himself?

Could you imagine trying to get a job after going at it with a company in court.

Even if you look at normal jobs these kinds of battles are net loss to those who try. Say a lady who works at say an accounting firm gets an out of court settlement for 200k for a "sexual harrasment" issue. Now she can not get another job or a well paying job because no one will hire her. Unless she just outright lies on her application. So the 200k money runs out and she can't get a good job. Net loss.

Now look at this situation from a pilots perspective. You CANT lie on your application pria reports and all. And you think that even if you win in court a company will touch you with a 10 foot pole? Nope. They can hire someone else and they will.

Interesting example. My step mom won a sexual harassment suit with a accounting firm and had no problems finding another job before it was even over. The company was ridiculously at fault and when explained, the new company had no problem with it.

I can see why after all the posts. I have a opertunity to take a twin turbine job in hawaii that 1. pays good. 2. little drama 3. live in hawaii. All the same that you accomplished (1000 TPIC) But I will be proud of my employment and won't suffer to get to the shinny jet.

Out of curiosity, what wages, what company and what are you doing from your PW position?

I see your a one man wolf pack and glad to hear they have a sig for your beep out there. But you failed to tell us who you are flying a jet for now? "go jet"? Just sad to see you guys post on something like this why not start your own thread on how good PW is and see if it can stay alive more than one day.

.....you can complain about it in Hawaii because you are making 2500pretax per month. Mommy and daddy helping you live out there so you can get your precious turbine time?

I don't think we would do well in a bar together.

Its the company themselves. They come on to the forums and/or numerous news articles that bash pacific wings, then they post these things. Everyone pretty much sees through it though. Look up the Alamogordo news.. the Athens, GA news and you will find this stuff. They have to stand up for their company that way. Sad isnt it?

Yea it is sad. Who would defend their former employer like that. Only management. I've seen these kind of posts on ps threads before. They sound like losers that have failed in life.

    Let me start with:

    Pacific Wings SUCKS.

    New Mexico Airlines SUCKS.

    Georgia Skies SUCKS.

    No wait...

Pacific Wings, New Mexico Airlines, and Georgia Skies are the 3 (and 1) most unsafe passenger operations in the United States. It's a shame they can hold onto their operating certificate(s).

I would have interviewed with them, but they told me that they'd be glad to interview me the next time I found myself in Hawaii! Heck no... that screams bad operator there.

To top it off, I have a friend that made CA at New Mexico Airlines who got FIRED for REFUSING to FLY IN SEVERE ICING CONDITIONS.

That's right.... Pacific Wings, Georgia Skies, and New Mexico Airlines put their passengers lives at risk by intimidating their employees to fly into unsafe conditions.

'nuff said. Don't work here, don't EVER buy a ticket on this airline, if you value your life.
