If you really want to see some whoppers, go to Selke at dinnertime.

Whats wrong with Alaska women? I gave a ride to a couple hot ones the other night, the conversations were amusing, I will leave it at that:p

Alrlight I realize that the majority of the women here are fatasses, however if you guys would quit oogling the fat ones only so that you can pronounce they're extreme fatness, you might find a few hotties around.

I can't say I didn't do the same thing when I ate at the Wilk on a regular basis. But once I got over the fact that, yes indeed there is a large population of huge asses around here, I went out and found a hot girlfriend, and yes she is a from North Dakota. (not trying to sound pompous, just trying to make a point)

...I know it might take a degree of will power, but I think a few of you might find it beneficial.

    HAHA!!!! Good stuff! :)

As far as snow tires go, these are the best snow tires ever. Green diamond>ALL!

    http://greendiamondtire.com/

I put these on my blazer and went to town. Now this truck had an open differential too and I was able to keep up with most 4WD vehicles.

All season tires are definetly a bad idea. Thats no way to win!

I need to put these on the olds, but only on the front. If you know what I mean. tehehe (evil face)

Jason, z rated tires on a honda? Whats the point? Im just kidding, mostly.

Wow, I should've bought those. Pretty affordable! Last year I got Dunlop Graspiks instead of Bridgestone Blizzaks because they were out of stock. The Graspiks are amazing in the snow. I can accelerate pretty quickly and brake hard without losing too much traction.

I'll be using them on the ice autocross event at Devel's Lake next February. We'll see how I do...

And Z-rated tires...yes... my brother put them on when he owned the car. It's a Civic Si, so the wheels come with V-rated tires stock (rated up to 149 MPH)... 160HP and pretty quick and decent-handling car for being a FF car. Just ask Angel he's been in my car - I hope I didn't scare him that day LOL

Not one bit. I enjoy going fast. It's great. I usually find myself asking people w/ nice cars to show'em off to me. My philosophy is that.....if you have a very good car, and know lots about it...then you're probably familiar w/ its handling and performance. I trust the driver. It might not always be the truth, but for the most part, it is.

(ah, btw...I saw this one blue car accelerating down that exit between odegard and clifford. I figured it'd probably be Jace's....and it was lol)

LOL that was funny. Yeah I keep tooling around with the thought of selling it and buying a used 1997-1999 BMW M3. I still may do it. At 24 yrs old I've been holding the urge to buy one since ummmm... about 15? I have this deep desire and lust for an M3... it's not a question of being able to afford it's initial costs, because I can pick up a well-maintained one from Cali for $16k-18k, the issue is I will have an uncontrollable desire to buy mods for it to make it handle better and accelerate faster!!! In that case I won't be able to afford it!

I think you'd like the e30(87-91 3 series) m3 more. It's lighter and has a lot less of the luxury weight adding bs on it. Granted its a four cylinder, but having driven both, the e30 is way more nibble than the the e36(92-99 3 series).

I dunno, Im getting more and more into the cornering ability of a car rather than straight line acceleration. For the most part.

The styling of older bimmers is hard to get used to as well. It took me a while to look at one and thing it looks good rather than just seeing a box with windows.

I actually do like the E30 M3 more. I drove my friend's 1989 E30 M3 about 3 years ago and was hooked. We drove through Mount Hamilton by San Jose, CA...one of the windiest roads in the country. I think it had 173 switchbacks if I recall?

The problem now is finding an E30 M3 that has not either been tracked really hard or abused. Most of the good E30's out there can be found in the BMWCCA Roundel mag classifieds, but I've seen that over the years they are increasing in value at a high rate. You can pick up a 1988 with 120,000 miles or so for about $14,000-16,000. I remember a while back you could get them for only $10,000.

I honestly think that a E36 M3 would actually be more affordable, considering maintenance costs. There have been many E30 M3's being converted to M50 engines, which is kinda cool...but I wonder how that messes up the weight distribution with the increased weight from 4-cyl to 6-cyl.

The problem boils down to money. But someday... I will have an E30 M3 in my collection...someday.

Yeah no money sucks. There's so many cars I want RIGHT NOW. You're like the only other person I've seen up here thats into cars as much as me. From what I can tell in here at least.

There's so many "badge " up here it makes me sick. You know, the kids that automatically think their car is great because of the company logo stuck to it. With out ACTUALLY comparing their perfomance specs for their car to others. Ooooh that ticks me off.

I hear that. Chevy is king in Grand Forks. Because of my time spent there, I will never own a truck and if I do, it won't be a Chevy. I got so tired of the hill billies talking about how their truck could go through anything/is so fast. There was this one tool, ask roundout, that actually believed that his truck was much faster because of the oil change he just go. "She just growls..."
    :(

Well as far as trucks go, chevy is pretty much the best, as far as towing, hauling, fixing, etc.. goes at least. You know what a truck is SUPPOSED to be used for. Not just to compensate for the insecurities in one's self. :) I do know what you mean though. One of my friends has an s13 240 and always gets "challenged" to racing these guys that think their truck is "fast". I dont doubt their trucks can go through a lot of things, but they sure as hell aren't fast. My friend likes leaving those guys in his dust and watching them plow straight into the ditch or the curb when they try to follow his line and speed through a corner. DUH!!! Its a truck!!!! Morons...

But anyway, I was talking more about all those kids with REGULAR wrx's thinking they drive gods car or something. Not the sti's. There's some idiot with a 7 series bmw that thinks its hot. I'd take a crown vic over any 7 series piece of garbage. VW owners are usually the most guilty of this. They see VW, that it was made in germany, and assume its the best damn car in the world in quality and performance. These are the same guys that bash FF cars all day when they drive one themself. They also distinguish between imports(ie japanese cars to them) and european. They're both imports!

I'll stop before this turns into more of a rant than it needs to be.

I havent had to many encounters with the redneck truck guys. Im sure they're worse.
