I applied with them a few years ago, got a long quiz/test to take on a Cessna 172( which is what they fly). Didn't get anywhere then, prob due to lack of TT then. Talked to a guy in ground school who flew for them, it seems an ok gig if you are single and are ok with getting stuck in places with your operator. Boss actually prefers you don't fly if the weather is bad, but otherwise they will push you to accomplish, as with any aerial survey company. Expect to be gone up to few months at a time. Forget what they pay, but don't recall it being anything exciting.
I work for aerial survey place now, pm me if you want insight on the type of work. We own both the panes and the cameras, which is different from most companies though. And my max time on the road is 3 weeks. I'll be glad to try to answer any questions though, still in touch with a guy who flew for NSA.

NSA is a picto contractor. There's 4 of them that do the exact same work. Look around this site for info on pictometry contractors.
