    Well, considering the type of aircraft I fly, perhaps we should talk about how low I've been. :)

    And considering all of my time is in normally aspirated recips, 15,000 is the highest I've been. Weaksauce. :(

    FL450 in an empty 747-400 to clear some weather momentarily over Indonesia :). Got 601 knots on Saturday northeastbound over Boston at FL330 which may have been my personal groundspeed record but I haven't really been keeping track. That was Mach .83 with a 120 knot tailwind IIRC, so still a low cost index cruise.

    I've been at FL450 in the Gulfstream II with work once. I would be interested to hear everybody's highest they have gotten in a 172. Mine is 10,500.

    I think i made it up to 15000 in a 172 once, but im not sure, because I didnt have any oxygen. Things got a little foggy.
