In other words, I soloed - if the thread title could be constituted in that meaning. Anyway, it was pretty surreal. It was over so fast :/ haha. I meant to solo maybe three hours ago, but yesterday I felt super confident and was ready. At 18 hours, I think I'm doing okay!

Looking forward to beginning cross country training.

Congratulations, sir! It's a good/weird feeling. Especially the first time you fly without the weight of the instructor on board.

My cross country training was a great time. Managed to get lost, but it was a great learning experience!

Yeah I feel like I did when I graduated college a few years ago: "What next?"

Congrats! Such an awesome feeling of being in the air alone.

Thanks! It took a day for me to grasp what happened, but I'm doubly excited about flying now!

Congratz. 18 hours is good in this day and age. I think I was around 15 but it was a much simpler time and place.

Thanks! My instructor thinks I'm doing really well, but I feel I have a lot to learn.
