Just rode on the e190 (frontier/republic) for the first time and was seated towards the back of the cabin. I had a window seat and figured it would be nice to watch outside at night. The brilliant design of the plane has the stones on the trailing edge without any kind of reflector to protect the cabin. So unless you want to have a headache after the flight, window cover has to be closed. Poor design.

Also FAs please warn the cabin before turning on ALL the lights. Sincerely your PAX.

Agreed wholeheartedly. On that note I used to turn off the strobes on long night flights once we got away from heavy traffic areas. I always thought about how I rode on one of our flights one night up to Edmonton and the northern lights were pretty bright but those strobes were on and so bright...

I'd be stoked to watch the stones on the wing of an airplane.

Not all airplanes with engines below the wing are automatically awesome.

Ah that is a nothing compared to the belly compartment. It was designed for vertically challenged folks.:bang:

True, but a basic passenger comfort item was majorly overlooked.

Yes, and the fact that your "window" seat is really a wall seat unless you recline all the way backwards and torque your head all the way over.

^^ This ^^ I was on Shuttle America a month ago stoked that I finally got to peep this ride, when I had to lean so far forward to look out the window, I just gave up.

On the E145, if you seat near the middle, you can actually here the flash of the beacon. Once you hear it once you cant, not, hear it. Talk about miserable.

Seriously? I don't think I've ever been on a flight where advance notice was given out.

Really? You've never got the whole "the cabin lights will be dimmed for departure. Individual reading lights are located overhead" thing?

I think he's talking about the other end of the spectrum. When you're out cold and "BAM! BRIGHT LIGHTS!"

This. It went from dance party from the strobes to the sun being on in the cabin. At least turn on some and then others after.
