You know, I didn't even realize it had a Navy paint scheme until I saw the pictures I took after the flight. I've seen one (in pictures) painted up with a Coast Guard scheme.

:) Thanks @capnflyright of course that was my first fuel check. This was a max range trip for the lear 35 and my hand written fuel tracking was a double check of fltplans estimated fuel burn. Fltplan is great but when you have a 30 year old airplane and a 4.5 hour leg I think its a good idea to keep 2 eyes on your landing fuel estimate. In the end we landed with about 300 lbs less than fltplan said we would. Once we were sure we would make the east coast with plenty of fuel we were a little more generous with the power.

Daughter took me flying tonight. She's kinda crazy. I'm pretty sure if her feet could reach the rudder pedals we would've spent an hour snap rolling all the way across north Idaho.

No shuttle there anymore. They've got to use it for something, I've heard it's fairly easy, as long as they aren't about to launch something.

2932 and 2933 are still closed to the public but you can fly into 2934.

How do you know that your dog is your real best friend?

Lock your dog and your wife in the trunk of your car for an hour. When you let them out, which one is happy to see you?
