So far the winter has been better here!

Please keep in mind when you view these photos I'm 6'4...

December 2010 at my home at the time:

December 2011 what I did this year instead

Had a friend who is grabbing his license take me up to show me the Diamond DA-20, because I've always had a small distaste in composite airplanes, specifically ones I didn't know I could fit in, turns out I was right about that last part...

However, considering the time of year and where we live, the weather was absolutely beautiful +5C calm winds.

Sorry 2011 wasn't as good as 2010. Terrible being without snow.

Fingers crossed it stays this way somewhat.

Last winter was highest ever for snowfal on the books... we were digging out every 4 days on average last winter... Hoping for a dry one

We had almost 11' in the last half of November, very little in December, and two feet today. Who knows how this will end.

I was thinking of getting typed on it, just because 172's are getting harder and harder to rent here... and the Diamond is $10 less /hr

    they also have a DA-40, but it's around $240 Cdn/Hour compared to $170/hr for the C172S

    Beautiful avionics though

Was working a few nights ago, Engineer said he didn't feel right not having snow for the Christmas season. So it started snowing about 10 minutes later... his big mouth...
