Just got word today that CommutAir is looking to hire flight attendants for a new hire class in Feb. Visit their website and fill out an application if you are interested. Currently bases are in EWR and CLE.

XJT isnt a bad gig. Sure ORD reserve sucks but it is what it is. I hear we should be line holders within 6 months. Some might even get relief lines within two months. Most of the pilots Ive flown with thus far are all awesome which makes for a fairly fun overnight, even in FSD. They put us in some very nice hotels on overnights. So far, I dont have any real complaints other then the 5 logins it takes to get to my company webpage. Thats likely just standard when you're slamming together 2 company mergers. They are expanding, DEN is rumored to open up as a base fairly soon.

I can't remember exactly what I was making but I do remember if I had any bills and wasn't living with my parents life would have been damn tough. I know I made a couple dollars less an hour the FO pay and my guess would be about 15,000 a year at min which I never broke above.

16.50 and a dollar per year raise after that. I believe they are waiting for the pilots to get a contract before they try to get anything more.

In the FA's current new hire class, the average age looks to be about mid 40's...I don't think that the way you look is a problem here. They seem to be a very nice group as well! Most of them are going to be based in EWR so if you were hoping for CLE, I don't know if you'll get it or not.

Depends on the regional....however, I did fly on a Pinnacle flight this past summer with an F/A that looked something like this:

Edit: The F/A on my flight was actually drinking a Mtn Dew at the boarding door, not a Pepsi.
