I'm looking for a set of clarity aloft pro TSO'ed. I'm also curious if anyone has any experience using these in an embraer? I'm curious if they are worth using, I do know its not worth a $700 experiment.
    Thanks

I've never used one, but I've heard that there's massive comm bleed thru on the ERJ.

I'm still looking for a used set. Ill expand the search to the non-tso'd version. Ive never been questioned (FAA, Or check airman
) about my personal headset, so I think it would be some what safe to give'em a try.

If you're still looking in a month I can sell you my old set. It is a bit broken right now (the wire to the right earbud frayed) but I am sending it in for repairs in a week. I have the TSO'd version (Clarity Aloft Pro) Or if youre willing to pay shipping back and forth you can try them out for a month or so.

Michael, sounds like a great idea. I'm just a little hesitant to drop $700 at a time when im not sure I will have a job much longer, and they may not work in the plane im flying!
Let me know when you have them and I'll take care of the shipping.
BTW, what up with you these days? Where are you flying now?

I have used the standard version in the SF3 and EMJ for over 5 years. No issues whatsoever. Also no issue with FAA, Line Checks or anything either. Nobody cares, they don't know, don't care, and don't ask. Worst case scenario, "if" for some one in a million chance someone has a problem with it, play dumb, throw on the Company David Clarks until they are gone. Problem solved. The Pro version sucks, and it has bleed through and other issues in the EMJ, get the standard one.

Working for Baron Aviation, a fedex feeder in Roswell, NM. They pay just enough to make you hesitant about leaving, although I have my application in with Air Methods, Avantair, Virgin America, Allegiant, Spirit. Last few are long shots but I do meet the minimums, so can't hurt.
