Well, the fiancée is preggers, moving her out here doesn't look promising, there anyone in Chicagoland or Milwaukee that treats their people halfway decent and pays a livable wage without asking me to do anything too sketchy. I just got out here too, but the future missus won't budge looks like and she's got a much better job anyway, time to start slowly searching (got until Nov). What say you Internet?

Thanks Alec, I'm super excited, the timing is a little poor, but c'est la vie. Now just gotta figure out what to do.

Throw boxes for purple or brown out in RFD.

But seriously, that's all I got.

I think MAC has a MSN base. Air Cargo Carriers I think has a few in the area.

Sterling Aviation out of MKE seems to be pretty often looking for BE400 F/Os. No idea how they are to work for, but it couldn't be any more CharterDog than the place I flew BE400s, and in retrospect, even that wasn't all that bad (in a "nice place to visit but wouldn't want to stay" kind of way). My S/O is a Damned Yankee from up that way, and I've toyed with the notion of applying to the point of doing a little research. I haven't found anyone who's worked for them, but I also haven't heard anything bad "second hand", and that's usually a good sign. Good luck and congrats, dude!

Gratz man, sorry I don't have any help on job leads. Why not just move back to Alaska? Good coin out there.

Pat is way too smart to take a woman to Alaska. He'll wind up working three jobs just to pay for the trailer they used to share before she ran off with a "Deadliest Catch" star.

If push comes to shove, I'll try to go up north and work 2-on-2-off, but I'd prefer not to. I've got some convincing to do to figure that out.

I recommend dragging her down to TX for a few months, after that she'll do Alaska in a heartbeat. That worked on my Midwestern wife.

Actually, winter was what got her. Something about "I miss having seasons". I think if we never left Juneau she'd be a happy girl.
