Aviator is growing rapidly; over 60 new students are slated to start both the College and Professional Programs in January. Additional staff have been hired and new planes will be arriving in January.

I'm a student at Aviator and work part-time here too, answering the phones. Feel free to reach me at 607-351-2191 or dwe213@yahoo.com. I just passed my Commercial Single Add-on today, and now it's back to the books for the Instructor Ratings. :)

Bill--yes, I took Pierre's class earlier this year and he was amazing--the most knowledgeable Aviation Instructor I've ever met and always professional, friendly and available to answer questions. Gonzo--Mike said that there are a bunch of new (new to Aviator) planes arriving shortly but I don't know any details yet.

I also remember when there were a bunch of new planes to arrive 'shortly'. They did not arrive in the six months I was there, but they did retire two airplanes that hit their spar limits. The days of only a couple of operational airplanes continued.

I went there and I don't feel like I was ripped off, quite the contrary I got what I went there for.

    ..... just saying;)

Bill I have no doubt you don't feel like you were ripped off and that is good that you had a good experience, but that doesn't make Nick's experience any better or untrue.

I was there in 2006, and they had a similar number of airplanes. Usually eight or so operational, but that would slowly dwindle as maintenance got behind. Eventually it would get to 2-3, and Mike would scream at instructors, customers and maintenance alike, before closing the school for a day or two so that they could catch up.
