    Congrats! Welcome to the company.

However, have a question for you. You mention going over and using a 737-200 sim instead of the CRJ sim during the interview process...who mentioned this and was there a reasoning behind yet?

I take it sim scheduling is becoming a huge issue now. All these guys want to see if some instrument scan and being able to handle a jet. So, doesn't really matter...just hope Delta isn't raping us on the lease fee for the sim.

Thanks! I can't wait to be part of the company. I was told this by Fred, and then by the guy who did the actual sim ride. From what I was told, they are getting a better deal with Delta on the 732 than FSI is giving them with the CRJ.

The next scheduled ASA new-hire classdates are 3/21, 4/4, 4/18. There will be 12 in each class. Expect DTW or IAD as base, unless they'll start sending more guys to ATL.

Update: Apparently they are letting new-hires pick their preferences for bases. All bases and positions available, except ATL CR7/9. DTW/IAD are the junior bases.

Just got the call today for Mar 21 Express side. I interviewed on the 8th. They skipped the sim for me for my 5000hrs of crj time. The other 6 applicants had to do the sim the next day. It was to be in the 737-200 at delta. I feel sorry for them the 737-200 is a hard ac to fly, been 15yrs since I was in a 737-200 sim and still hate it. The ASA side is open for who want it.

I had a guy with 10,000 hrs. in my new-hire class. Everyone has different backgrounds and situations.

got to start over some place. others have no interest in the high regional time guys, getting current again is what is important to move on.

So the sim is going to be using all old school steam gages in the 737-200? I am just doing a little practice before my interview and I want to know if I should expect all glass or steam gages? Thanks!

Just finished Day 2 of the interview (sim ride). And yes, it was in the -200. Ugh. Now comes the waiting game...hopefully I'll get good news in "3 to 10 days."

I just noticed that the mins for expressjet are 600/100. I've got about 92ME and was wondering if any of you know if they will bring you in for an interview pending you have the 100ME by the time you are given a class date(IF you get hired). I've heard rumors about Eagle doing this..but again those were just rumors.

    Thanks!
