Well I just got my acceptance letter in the mail today!!!! Looks like I may be out there in the Fall, still need to wait for the other colleges to get back to me. I'll need an intramural ice hockey team to play on too haha.

Congrats! It's a nice feeling. Although, as others have said it's hard to get rejected unless you're going to a private/Harvard etc.
Universities will take your money any time for the most part.

You'll love going through Private Ground School again and spending 2k proving to UND that you can fly... not.

I may not be an Aviation student there anyhow but if I am a Flight Minor, whatever..sometimes you have to do things you don't want to do :)

Honestly, I learned alot by going through 102 here. I got my PPL at a part 61 fbo back home, so most of my studying was done at home. The ground school got a lot more in depth and I feel I have benefited greatly from it. Regarding the flying, even though some was unnecessary, it gets you introduced into UND's Standards. Jumping right into 221 without 112 would have been doable, just a bit more tricky.

Hey congrats! UND's not too bad actually, I mean ND sucks (it's friggin cold) but it's not that bad. :) Hopefully they got rid of the laptop program. If they still have that I'd go elsewhere. :p

    Where else are you applying?
