It comes with the original box, the transceiver, battery, charger, and headset adapter. The Vertex Standard VXA-300 Pilot III features a submersible design that can withstand water intrusion at 3 feet for up to 30 minutes. Great for flight line personnel and anyone using a transceiver outdoors where it may rain. In addition it's 800 mw audio amplifier makes the Pilot III louder than any other handheld transciver available today (for example, it's about 30% louder than the Icom IC-A23). | Re: Vertex Standard Pilot III Transceiver Just to test out the signal strength, I've done a couple of complete patterns with all the calls to see if anyone could tell any difference from the regular radio. They couldn't. Keep in mind, we're talking close range, but still. It's a great transceiver. I hope someone jumps on this at $150.
