I would just use the books, Zero1Niner. Any FAA Written test prep software is kind of a waste of money. I used to talk everyone of my students out of buying written prep software of any kind, especially since most are short on cash. I'm assuming since you're looking for CFI material, you're already instrument rated. This won't help, but you should have taken your CFII written with your original Instrument written. It's the same bank of questions! Anyways, use the books and go here: www.exams4pilots.org It used to be called Kip's or something like that back in the day. But it's got pretty much every FAA exam with the entire bank and will generate as many practice exams as you want. That's really all you'll get that's useful from the software, anyway. Best of all, it's free. The only software I ever used that was really good was Jeppesen's Instrument course, which TheAlchemist lent me to prep for an interview. It was super thorough and covered a lot of stuff that's really easy to overlook when studying the Jepp Legend. Hope this helps. |
