Meh, the timing was co-linear.

But hey, gotta start somewhere!

Maybe it's me, but if I'm jamming out to something while flying through busy airspace, the cutting in and out would drive me crazy. Right now I've been putting my iPod earbud in one ear and turning the volume on my headset up on opposite ear.

If the guy I'm flying with is annoying, I will put the earbud in my left ear.

It drove me frigging insane. So, I stopped doing it.

That was the first solution I came up with. It worked like a charm. Never missed a callsign, single pilot, in busy class B airspace.

Well, after a few days, I started missing the stereo separation, so I started using earphones on both ears, UNDER my headset. Crank the radio volume, and I was golden.

Again, never missed a callsign, and it made flying even that much more enjoyable!!

A real easy solution is the stereo patch from Aircraft Spruce.

I have one of those, worked great for me in the Citation, but the other guy would get some sort of interference over the ICS, so I had to stop using it.

It worked great, but busy airspace was a problem. Loved it for the 3 am runs though. I actually consider it a safety device if the coffee is not working like it should.
I actually have not used it for a few years, and therefore, it failed the litmus test. Unless it has a special significance, not used in three years = ebay.
