I inveiwed there a couple months back and passed on them - they offered 16.50$ per hour!!!

They need people bad - most of the poeple in my interveiw class were brand new A&P and they hired them.

Nice people - very easy interveiw - standard HR questions.

Twice interviewed with conditional offers but they did the bait/switch tactic on the LAX location so it leaves one with little option if you dont want to relocate.

At least the airlines were not bringing their recruits to the schools. We had several requests for A&P's with regional carriers. We had 3 this past semester. 16.50 sounds good. What about other benefits like overtime, shift differental pay, and other benefits besides the usual ones?

overtime pay was 1 1/2 for over 40 hours per week - heath costs 40$ per month for single person. 3th shift as inspections and mod lines are starting up.

Do not get me wrong - I would like to work there but the pay is not what they told me over the phone. My intial call said 20.50$ per hour so I went and the after the interveiw and drug test they called and say 16.

Over all - the poeple are easy to deal with and could be a good job for A&P starting out and topping out after 10 years could be good but for a mechanic that has be around and is older then dust, no thonks

Iv'e just talk to them back on 5-14-08 Nice people. A guy name
"Big Mike" and another guy interviewed me he said he was there for about 20 years.
They said they were getting new equipment for the hangar at KATL. They were also hiring at their Macon base as well. But 16.00 was a bit too little (for Atlanta) but since that is entry level we will see. BUt since I am from out of state WAY out (There were alot of guys from GA and FL there applying for the job as well nice guys too) I think I am in for some competition.
