My headset ANR keeps going on and off repeatedly causing many issues. Any ideas how to resolve this? Better Batteries? I already disabled the auto shut-off.

I seem to remember the batteries jiggle in the holder. I think the fix was to fold a very small pece of paper and place it on top of one of the batteries then replace the cover.

Send it to Bose... from what I've read around here... you'll get back a pretty much brand new headset.

Bose is incredible at taking care of customers. You have a 5 year transferable warranty on all Bose Aviation X headsets. The same thing you are describing happened to me. Bose will repair and return your headset with new electronics. They also replace the ear pads and the microphone screen if there is any wear at all. Bose will also advance replace a loaner headset if you need one while yours is being serviced. Just an incredible company that is refreshing in this day and age. |
