| Here's a shot from Cptnchia, posted a while ago. ![]() See at the top, in the black rectangle, where the aircraft's reg. is and the four letters "DK-LR" are; well, does anyone know what the letters "DK-LR" stand for? |

| Senior Member | It's for SELCAL It stands for Selective Calling. If you have a radio tuned a certain frequency, and someone needs to call you, they send out those letters in a coded signal. Then a chime, or voice, in the cockpit notifies you that you need to call the ground station.
