Default Altimeter Question

Need help with this one. If you descend from Fl290 to 11,000 and do not reset your altimeter how far off will it be?

That's easy, it's the difference between what it is and what it should be!!

If the altimeter setting is 29.92, then there is no error, otherwise, I have no idea.

200 feet!

Nah, roughly 9.3 feet per 0.01 inHg difference from the local altimeter.

Baro-Corrected Altitude = Pressure Altitude + 27672*( (Local Setting - 29.92)/ 29.92 )

Your tapeline (geometric) altitude will still vary with temperature, but that's the relationship for a barometric altitude.
