So, I'm well along in ground school now (4 days in), and were starting on systems. I've been pouring over the company training manual, and have found some interesting things, nothing too difficult with the exception of the "p2.5" bleed air being re routed to the "jet flap" which is supposed to cause "pre-swirl" which prevents compressor stall. I understand the "why do we need this question" however, the "how does it work?" question still eludes me. Anybody know anything about the "jet flap?" Thanks Pat BTW all of the stuff that was posted in the other post worked really well, and I feel like I'm ahead of the other guys in the ground, thanks a lot! |
