Default Panel mount or not, what's the difference?

So what is the difference between a panel mount and non-panel mount. Just looking at headsets and see adaptable to panel mount. I'm just use to the two plug-ins.

Thanks.

You dont want a panel mount, those are mosty for aircraft owners who would like the headset hard-wired to the panel... I dont think you can remove them.

a non-panel mount will have your typical plugs you will need.
