Default Chart Currency FAR

In training for the CFI certificate, my instructor, a fellow CFI student and I are having a hard time finding an FAR that states that a pilot must have a current chart (sectional for VFR, low altitude for IFR or jet chart for the high flyers) in his/her posession while flying an aircraft. Anybody know of one?
