I recently added up all of my cross country time "less than 50nm" and want to insert this number into the logbook (prior to cfiing I had not logged anything under 50 as X/C.) What is the proper way to input this entry? This time is for part 135 minimums.

I don't know if I would put that number into my logbook. I have an electronic logbook that I added in that column (Part135 X/C). Most 135 operators won't even look at your logbook, it is just up to you to be honest.

| Old Skool | I've taken two 135 checkrides so far (both with FAA, not company check airmen). The only thing they care about is what's written on your annual resume that is part of your pilot/training records.

I can vouch for this too. When I interviewed at my 135 job they did not want to see my logbook. As far as making corrections in a logbook, several months ago I discovered a 15 or so hour discrepancy in my hours. What I did was make a special entry correcting the times, then in the remarks section I said something to the effect of " Corrected error discovered on XX/XX/XX date" Hope that helps |
