I did a search, but did not come up with anything. Does anyone know good acronym's for VFR flight visibilities for the various airspaces? I learned them all a while ago, but could not remember them. One of them was something like F111, or something. Thanks, Ryan |

You're thinking of C152 and F111 for basic VFR controlled airspace minimums below and above 10,000 msl. C152 airplanes typically fly below 10,000 msl and it stands for C - 3 miles visibility (C is the third letter of the alphabet) 1 - 1000 ft above the clouds 5 - 500 ft below the clouds 2 - 2,000 feet laterally away from the clouds F111 airplanes typically fly above 10,000 msl F - Five miles visibility 1 - 1000 ft above the clouds 1 - 1000 ft below the clouds 1 - 1 mile laterally away from the clouds |
