| oops. I meant METAR TALK!!! KIGX 14nm W 301956Z AUTO 14007KT 110V180 9SM CLR 31/24 A2977 RMK AO2 RAB13E25 SLP073 P0000 T03110239 TSNO what does the "P0000" mean? and since obviously they cant always be zeros, how about anyone know how to decode this "group"? |

[/ QUOTE ] P0003 HOURLY PRECIPITATION AMOUNT Prrrr; in tens, units, tenths and hundredths of an inch since last regular hourly METAR. A trace is reported as P0000. | Well, on that note, what does the SLP (and then a whole bunch of number behind it) mean? It seems like I see "A02 SLP##########" in the remarks section of a metar all the time and never understood what it meant. Thanks, Ryan |

| SLP is Sea Level Pressure in hectopascals. 073 is 1007.3 hPa. Or an altimeter of 29.75 inches of mercury. |
