Default Terrain display question

Anyone know much about the Collins avionics system on the CRJ 700? The Terrain display on the MFD shows two numbers. I'm pretty sure the top number is the elevation of the highest point in the range selected but not really sure what the bottom number represents

Default Re: Terrain display question

Elevation of the lowest terrain depicted (colored). So, anywhere that's dark is below that lower figure. BTW, the figures are in MSL and include known manmade objects (towers/bldgs).

Sure is a great feature flying in the mountains! Hope this helps.
