Post Skymates - places to stay

Hi

Im am planning to be in Dallas mid-October to early November for some flying at Skymates, anyone have any ideas on where to stay that is relatively inexpensive and in the area ? Will be spending most of the time at the airport flying/studying so doesnt have to be 5 star, just something comfortable.

any info is appreciated

I don't know. When I was there, there wasn't a SINGLE word about them. If they're there, they're probably full of Indians.

No more houses. I think most people stay at the Inn-Town Suites.

I'm going down to Arlington the week of October 7th and I'm staying at Quality Inn for $49.99/night. It's relatively close to the airport as well.

hello all

thanks for all the info - yeah not much word on the houses since I think they are mostly for international students ?

yardman - how long you going to be down there ? PM if you want, I'll be down there for 3 weeks - also plan to stay at the Quality Inn in Arlington.

thanks

7 days.

I personally think Inn Town Suites owes a royalty to Monty considering he discovered it. Sounds like he's sent them a lot of business.

Also, check out Budget Suites off of 360 in Grand Prairie. Monthly rate is $750, if you bring your own sheets and towels. Includes free internet and other nice amenities like a fridge in the room and a cook top. Room is a suite and not in a bad part of town.

I'd rent you the top floor of my house for $500 a month if you didn't mind the 40+ mile commute each way.

There are a few of them in Arlington. I staid at the cheaper one on S. Cooper, but the other one on Cooper is closer to the airport.
