Default SkyMates Commercial/ME

I am interested in getting my commercial and ME ratings from SkyMates. I am looking at the;
COMMERCIAL SINGLE (INITIAL) AND MULTI ENGINE RATING
  • 10 Hours Dual Instruction Pa 28R Arrow
  • Airplane rental for checkride
  • Ground School
  • Books
  • Multi Engine Add On
  • Total = $3,995.00
From reading SkyMates website, they are part 61, not 141. I thought for a commercial, part 61, it required 20 hrs instruction, and at least 10 of that being in complex aircraft. This seems to involve only 10 hrs. Also, will the addition of the ME rating, with the commercial, qualify me to fly commercial in ME aircraft, or do I have to do a seperate ME commercial add-on?

The ME add-on will be a Commercial Add-on to your Single Engine rating. If you look below the packages, it says this:

Quote:
Pre-requisites for this course are all the aeronautical experience requirements as per 61.129, except the 10 hours complex training time. This course can be customized to accommodate any items that you may need to add to meet these requirements
We are 141 approved, but those courses allow you to do it a lot cheaper, Part 61, as opposed to 141.

Hopefully, that will answer your questions.
