| Old Skool | Did they close down the restaurant that was there?? They used to have one on the field a couple years ago. Of course, it was kinda pricey though. |

| Old Skool | What happened to the place next to ATP? They were serving free beer there last time I went... Thought it was pretty decent. Bob

| Old Skool | Take the courtesy car to Mercado Juarez if you like Mexican... Spring Creek BBQ if you like BBQ... and Brooklyns Best if you like Pizza/Calzone, etc. ![]() Other than that... There are the normal Mall type restaurants nearby (driving distance) like Outback, Spaghetti Warehouse, SaltGrass, Red Lobster, Friday's, etc... and Ryan already hit on the walkable fast food joints... Bob PS: Free cookies at Harrison Aviation! (FBO)

| I know that's not what you wanted to hear Smittey! Look on the bright side though, that will make for some extra money in your pocket at the end of the day.

| Old Skool | Man, that restaurant didn't last long. They re-opened it about a month or two before I left, and it was still open a year ago. There's a gas station not too far with decently cheap food, and a McDonald's across the street. On the other side of the highway is a JitB and a Whataburger. I second Brooklyn's Best. It's probably a 5 minutes drive in the other direction.

| Dude you've been gone a little bit longer than I have. Theres a few restaurants around that Mc'D's now since you've been gone. I think that theres a chicken express, sonics.. Who knows whats around there now. They been building up around there like crazy. You guys should have went on the back side of of the airport on Green Oaks. There used to be a cajun restuarant back there that had the best bread pudding ever! You couldn't go to work after eating it because of all the crown royal it was lased with but it was good. I really miss their red beans and rice also. Like all great places, they closed about a year ago. I haven't found a place like that since and I know there is know place, even close to that, out here. Thats messed up the airport restaurant didn't make it. The food wasn't bad there and the price was reasonable. |

| Old Skool | The Sonic was there, but I had just forgotten about it. Never got to eat at the Cajun place, but I wound up on Green Oaks a lot. There's always the Ton's cheap flight instructor meal. All you can eat Mongolian BBQ for less than $8!

| Senior Member | Joe's off W. Green Oaks(Across from Kroger) is quality Italian fare too. He'll give you free grub if you show up on a regular. Not to mention it's close to the "Free Beer Hooters," (I don't know if it's still free). |
