Default GKY peeps help a brotha' out.

I actually posted this in general but thought that I need as much exposure as possible. Thanks guys and gals.

I'm gonna be flying in there this saturday, and I'm a little worried because I have only talked to Frog_Flyer about the procedures out there. You'd be scared too. lol

Anyway, gonna be out there saturday and I have some questions for minds who can help me. I'm fully aware of airnav and I know how to use my AFD, but I'd also like to get some info from those of you out there. *ahem*

1. Is there a recomended public use FBO?

2. Are there tie down fees?

3. Is there any chance of us being able to use a crew car for a couple hours?

4. If not is there a rental car place at the airport?

5. The tower is up now right?

And for craps and giggles the price of 100LL isn't cheaper than 3.95/gal. is it?

That's all I can think of right now, I appreciate the replies.

1. Harrison is the fbo...the only one
2. naa..last i checked no tie down fees for transit parking if you buy fuel
3.they have crew cars..first come first serve
4.Yes, Enterprise is on the field
5. Tower is up and running T-128.62 G-121.87

Not sure on the price, Airnav is pretty accurate though

Stop in to Skymates and say hello...will ya

If this is your first time into GKY then godspeed!

Thanks man, that was a damn speedy reply considering all the talk in the general forums has been about Hooters.lol

I hadn't planned on buying gas there, but depending on tie down price and fuel price we'll see.

I actually have been to Skymates before and talked to you, but this will be the first time I've flown there. I'll stop by again if someone there wants to show me how to get to the Hooters
