Drove down to Arlington and had a chat with Ryan, met Luca (he was pretty busy) and got a chance to talk to John and Brett for a moment. All in all, I got a good vibe from the place. My opinion here is that it's not as stiff or corporate or professional as ATP - which is neither a bad thing or a good thing - it's just different. But it did feel like I'd get more...I don't know what the word is, exactly...access, maybe?...to my instruction and instructors. Also sat in a G1000-equipped 172. Really nice airplane. Shame I probably wouldn't get to fly it, cost-wise. Going to crunch numbers, make up a pro/con list, and figure out what's what. Thanks, all. I enjoyed my visit there. |
